Virtual PI Planning

Agile Manifesto principle: "The most efficient and effective method of conveying information to and within a development team is face-to-face conversation."

Most of my clients operate globally but have invested in face-2-face PI Planning events. I am not so sure they will in the future.

Initial feedback from our virtual PI Planning has been very positive. So positive LACE is considering a recommendation to continue with virtual events in the future.

Hypothesis: We believe that virtual PI Planning events involving, a single or multiple Agile Release Trains (ART), will be just as effective as face-to-face events to align teams with a shared mission and vision.

We will know that this is true when we see....
